Another good role up for today’s ride with 14 starters.  With the heat we have been having over the last couple of days we thought the numbers would be down a bit (it good to see we are keen). We welcome another new rider today Dave C, hope he enjoyed the ride and the company and will be back for future rides. Thanks Dale for organising and leading the ride, it was cut short from what was originally posted owing to the warmer weather and maybe the distance before morning tea. It was another testing ride for all a bit of everything and enjoyable. There was no real issue to speak about except for a old green Triumph sprint letting a cloud of smoke out when the throttle was open up a bit, but it seem to like the hit out (been locked up for a while). The ride went Woombye, Montville, Peachester, Bellthorpe, Reeville Conondale where there was a pit stop or in Greg case a trip, step and tumble, (Greg tried to sit on the railing on one end and the railing let go, maybe in future he will try to sit in the middle or have someone else on the other end). We then went onto Kenilworth , Obi-Obi, Mapleton and then to Ricks Garage at Palmwoods. Everyone ordered there healthy food for day making sure they look after the diets (or lack of) all I can say the thick shakes are very Think. Thanks everyone for making this another enjoyable day out on the Bikes what else could we ask for. Hope everyone thats doing the camp weekend at Kenilworth this weekend have a great time enjoying themselves at Growing Old Disgracefully.

Next Wednesday ride will be led by Jim: Meet at 0800 Woombye Hotel car park departs 0830 Woombye Pub across to Diddilibah Rd, through to Yandina via Maroochy river rd.  From there we head through North Arm to Eumundi Range Road to Cooroy for a rest stop.  We will travel through Black Mountain to tuchekoi, over Imbil hill, up the Obi and along Balmoral range to Maleny for morning Tea at the Maleny Marketplace Café

Please Note the Draft 2019 ride calendar has been posted on the web page in the News and Branch Documents.
