Well the morning air this morning was quite brisk with everyone turning up all rugged up with temperature at 7 degrees it generated some chat, but as the day when on it was a magical day to be out on the bikes with most covering the 400k ride with a big smile on their faces. Thanks to Bob G for organising and planning the days ride with 17 riders turning up this morning for the run up to Gympie for morning tea. 6 riders called it a day and went home in different direction leaving 11 of us to go out to Rainbow breach for lunch. The highlight of the day was watching a group of back packers getting their rear wheel drive car bogged on the beach and having no idea how to get it out. (Someone did come along eventually to help them). We had a nice lunch at SLSC and discussions on local issues as we are now all lounge chair experts at fixing things. After lunch we all headed for home with most travelling back through Kin Kin, Pomona. Thanks again everyone for another great day out on the bikes. “What else could we ask for”

Next Wednesday 5th June ride will be led by Alan L: Going to Dayboro in an unusual way, more information to follow.
