Today’s ride out to Garry McCoy’s cafe at Cooyar was another enjoyable day out on the bikes. We had 19 riders start at Woombye pub for the ride out with us picking Geoff H at Moore so that’s 20 in total, another good role up for a ride. We had Darrell S join us from Sunny Coast branch looking to have a longer ride, I think he got he wanted around 400 plus ks for the day, we hope he enjoyed the ride and company. It was great to see John T out for ride today it’s been a long time coming but he picked a big day of riding to have his first Wednesday ride with us, the report is he enjoyed the ride so we hope he can get out on more rides soon. There were no issues to write about today, so everyone behaving and riding with the group and looking out for their mates which is great to see. Special thanks goes out to Lindsay for planning and leading the ride keeping everyone reasonably close together, thanks to Jim for being middle marker this helps when we have a reasonable size group, it allows the leader to know where the front half of the group is and the middle markers keeps a lookout for the rear group with the TEC, this has been working reasonable well in keeping everyone together. For those that didn’t ride today it’s worth a run out to Garry McCoy’s cafe, there is a fair bit of memorabilia inside to have a look at whilst waiting for coffee and some good food. Thanks everyone for a great day out hope you enjoyed it so until next time stay upright and safe..
